Vacation

-- CBA Article 11. Section 1. --
Employees covered by this agreement shall become eligible for vacation with pay on their vacation eligibility date, provided their Company seniority has not been broken, and provided they have worked at least 1,200 hours.
Vacation eligibility shall be as follows:
One year seniority
Fifty-six (56) hours
Two years seniority
Sixty-four (64) hours
Three years seniority
Seventy-two (72) hours
Four to ten years seniority
Eighty-eight (88) hours
Ten to twelve years seniority
One-hundred eight (108) hours
Twelve to fifteen years seniority
One-hundred twenty-eight (128) hours
Fifteen years or more seniority
One-hundred sixty-eight (168) hours
MOA: Vacation Pay Advance for New Hires:
Newly hired represented employees will receive 16 hours of earned vacation after 60 days of active employment. The 16 hours of paid vacation is an advance on the total amount of paid vacation eligible employees would receive on the first anniversary of their seniority date. Eligible employees will be awarded the remaining hours of earned vacation required under the CBA on the first anniversary of their seniority date. For example, after receiving an advance of 16 hours of paid vacation, an employee who is eligible for 56 hours of vacation will be awarded the remaining 40 hours of earned vacation on the employee’s first anniversary of their seniority date.
